Ordering a bed is a big decision that most families make only a few times. You live with it for ten or twenty years, and a wrong size or a weak box shows up every single night. Home Bed Design exists so you can walk into a furniture shop or a carpenter’s workshop knowing exactly what you want.
Every design on the site is an original picture made for this site, shown in a real looking Indian bedroom. Under each picture you get three facts and one practical tip.
What each design card tells you
- Size: the bed size and the mattress it is built around.
- Build: the main material and the finish, such as sheesham with PU polish or plywood with matte laminate.
- Storage: lift-up box, hydraulic lift, drawers, head box or open legs.
- Tell your carpenter: a measurement, a fitting or a finish detail that decides whether the bed turns out the way it looks.
What we are not
We do not sell beds, mattresses or fittings, and we do not take money to rank one style above another. We do not name brands or shops in our guides. If a page carries an advertisement, it is shown as one.
